Pay in machines are used in retail for several years. Mainly in USA, South Africa and Australia more than 300'000 devices are in operation. Here the advantages are mainly the cost reduction in cash management and the significant reduction in internal theft.
Missing protection against robberies
The devices of the different manufacturers have different levels of armoured safes. Nevertheless it is a fact that even the devices with the strongest safes are robbed from retail shops, sometimes leaving huge damages to the building and installations.
Ink in place of steel
The intelligent ink staining technology destroys the cash if attacked at the robbery place. If anybody without authorization try to open the SafeCube, the ink staining mechanism will be triggered.
The SafeCube has a weigth of approximately 40 kg. The machine is ergonomically designed and fits into every POS environment.
